What's the role?
The Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link project is one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects. As project manager for Hilti’s activities on the project, you will be responsible for developing close relations with Danish and foreign specifiers, contractors and suppliers on the project. The project has a strategic and international impact on Hilti’s operations, which is why your focus also will be on coordinating activities on the project in tandem with international stakeholders in the global Hilti organization.
Who is Hilti?
If you’re new to the industry, you might not have heard of us. We provide leading-edge tools, technologies, software and services for the global construction sector. We have a proud heritage, built over 75 years, and a worldwide reputation for pioneering products and exceptional service.
With 30,000 people in more than 120 countries, which we’re looking to expand, we’re a great place for you to show us your worth, step up to new challenges and grow your career.
What does the role involve?
As Project Manager, you work strategically to ensure that Hilti-solutions are chosen for key parts of the project, e.g. on the tunnel elements. In collaboration with our internal engineers, you communicate technical solutions to the client, specifiers and contractors, as well as implement them in cooperation with the clients on the jobsite through regular visits and facilitation of hands-on demonstrations. You will participate in drawing up offers, strategic negotiations and eventually ensuring the sale.
You will be part of our dedicated Major Projects Team, which works daily to secure that Hilti solutions are used on the largest jobsites in Denmark. Due to the size of the Fehmarn Belt project, and the early stage at which it is at, there is furthermore a clear opportunity to play a vital role in helping to shape and expand Hilti’s future efforts on the project throughout its duration.
What do we offer?
You will receive exceptional training in everything from our culture and products to sales techniques and models. We work with a direct sales approach, focusing on providing professional advice to our customers. As part of your onboarding program, you will attend three weeks of training in Hilti’s solutions at our Regional Training Centre in Manchester, either physically or digitally depending on the current COVID situation.
At the same time, you get the freedom to influence and plan your workday, and you become part of a highly competent team that has a clear drive to win together. Further, you will have daily interactions with your team leader, who will be providing you with ongoing coaching and feedback, to help further your personal development.
As part of the job, you will receive a company car, so it is requirement that you have a driver’s license.
